Social Movement Contemporary Dance Theater (SMCDT), under the direction of Founding Artistic Director Elijah Alhadji Gibson, is seeking dynamic, passionate, and versatile professional dancers for the 2025–2026 season.
What to Expect
Term: 40 weeks
Rehearsal Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Following, SMCDT will hold an invitation-only, in person audition in Houston on April 26, 2025.
Eligibility Requirements

Must be 18+ years old.

Eligible to work in the United States.

Professional dancers: Minimum of 2 years of performance experience or equivalent training.

Trainees: Less performance experience, but must be able to demonstrate potential and dedication.

Availability: Must be available for rehearsals, performances, and potential tours.
